So after hours and hours of trying to figure out html's and css's ( I know that's not correct spelling, but for all you computer geniuses out there you know what I mean) My new blog is finally here and new pictures are coming soon! So my dear friend Abby, told me that my comment link wasn't working. Long story short, I checked it out and realized there are chunks of my html missing. So I decided to start from scratch. The process is coming around much more slower than I had anticipated, but fear not, it will hopefully be up soon. I will post you a link as soon as it's up and running! Ezra and Kendra

Taking pictures of Ezra and Kendra was truly a dream come true. My friend Abi said they were two of her favorite people to shoot and I have to say I agree. They are not only stylish people, but their love is transformed through every picture. I know that my brother is an incredible man and I always had prayed for a woman who would be just as incredible. The more I get to know Kendra, the more I see that my brother has met his match. Thank you so much for your love and friendship you two. I love you and thank you for this wonderful afternoon.

Yesterday, I had the joy of shooting Rob and Amanda. I was so excited with the results, that I had to edit at least one to share. More to come soon!

Happy Birthday, Husband!

Tomorrow is my husband's birthday. I know that he doesn't want me to make it a big deal, but I'm his wife and I see it as part of my job. You only get one day a year to embarrass your spouse :) So, I hope your not too mad at me, Daniel, but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday! Thank you for being the incredible man that you are. And I promise I'll try not to embarrass you too much! I love you. 

American Girl

A few weeks ago, I had the joy of doing a concept shoot with some of the high school girls at our church, CCCH. I wanted to focus on the American Girl not in the way that we often look at her with confidence, but rather focus upon her who she is as a person. What forms her values, her individuality? I love these girls and the more I get to know them, the more I am in awe of the young women they choosing to be. So here's a toast to the American Girl. 

Charity

Life has been wonderfully crazy these past few weeks so I haven't been able to edit. But finally after a few weeks, I have been able to finish these photos and I have to say, they're some of my favorites. Charity, you are such a joy and honestly Thursday nights just aren't the same without you.

To my husband

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon, a perfect day for shooting. My husband and I grabbed the camera and chased the sunlight taking pictures of one another. I was so excited to practice the oh so popular "sun spots" as we ran through fields over looking the city. It was a day that you would think should be in a fairy tale. So for Valentine's Day, I wanted to tell you husband not only that I love you, but you have truly made my dreams come true. And thank you for afternoons like these...

Nicole

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of shooting my friend Nicole. She told me she feel natural in front of the camera, but I think she was bluffing. Nicole, I hope you enjoy the pics and honestly, I am so proud of you and all the changes you have made. I love you and thank you for working your magic for the camera! 

Theron and Emily

Theron and Emily said their I do's on a perfect sunny day in Southern California. The Bride wore a dress which seemed to be made for her and as she walked down the isle, everyone held back tears. I have never seen a couple so focused upon their commitment, sacrifice and love for one another. Theron and Emily I am so proud of you and thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day. It is one that I will truly never forget. 

Ryan & Ashley: Day After

I truly owe my passion for photography to my dear friend Abby. She is truly amazing! (You can check her fabulous work at http://abiqblog.com). A few months ago she graciously allowed me to second shoot a day after session with Ryan and Ashley in downtown Pasadena. After the shoot, I drove home with the windows rolled down singing on the top of my lungs and I could not stop smiling. It was a day I will truly never forget. Abby thank you for your encouragement, your friendship and your love. I am so lucky to have such an amazing friend like you.
